Our story
86 years stocking what industrial buyers actually need
American Wire Works was founded in Philadelphia in 1940 as a distributor of industrial wire products. Over eight decades the catalog has grown alongside the people who buy from us: construction contractors ordering rebar tie wire in bulk, aerospace MRO shops that need a specific MS20995 diameter on short notice, and insulation contractors working with Monel or Inconel for offshore and high-temperature jobs.
Our inventory sits in Folcroft, Pennsylvania, and we manage it ourselves. That means when you call about lead time, you get an answer based on what is actually on the shelf that day.
We are also an authorized MAX USA dealer, so contractors who use the tying guns can pick up compatible TW1061 tie wire coils here as well.
